Five weeks wheel throwing course - Beginner

All upcoming throwing courses are booked, and Souf will be away for 3 months ; new courses will be added soon for the end of January !

This is a beginners throwing course for those who are eager to try the potter's wheel for the first time, or have some experience but would like to acquire a stronger foundation. While receiving constructed demonstrations and close assistance, you will be guided through the first steps of throwing. You will learn to prepare the clay for work, center it, make cone and bowl shapes, as well as trim and decorate your pieces. In each 3 hours class we will touch upon the basics of ceramic theory, while most of the time will be devoted for practice and individual work on the wheel. The classes will be held once a week for the duration of 5 weeks, in an intimate, cozy environment of 4 students.
