This is a beginner-to-intermediate throwing course designed for those who are new to the potter’s wheel or have some experience and want to refine their skills and deepen their understanding of the craft.
You will strengthen your foundation in wheel-throwing techniques with step-by-step demonstrations and personalized guidance. You’ll learn how to properly prepare and wedge clay, center it on the wheel, and shape it into both functional and decorative forms like cones, vases, cups and bowls. You’ll explore more advanced techniques like trimming, refining forms, and adding unique decorative touches.

Classes are held once a week for 5 weeks in a warm, intimate setting with a maximum of 5 students, ensuring plenty of individual attention and hands-on practice time. Whether you’re taking your first spin on the wheel or looking to enhance your existing skills, this course offers a supportive and inspiring space to grow in your practice.

Lessons take place every designated day over the course of 5 weeks, from the first day of the beginning of the course.
Hours of the lessons :
Tuesdays :18:00 - 21:00
Saturdays : 11:00-14:00
All courses are taught in English.
Bring clothes that you don't mind getting dirty !
Pieces made during the course are usually ready to be picked-up 2 to 3 weeks after they're made. You will find the status of your pieces on the page Collect your creations.
