In our one-evening ceramic course, we'll immerse ourselves in hand-building, modeling, and decorating. Here's what you will do :
experiment 3 different hand-building techniques (pinch pot, coiling and slab building)
give texture and relief to your pieces with engraving and slip trailing
decorate and add color with color slips and underglazes - you will also combine it with the texture work with techniques such as Sgraffito or Mishima
You can make 3/4 objects. Whether you want to model a sculpture, jewelry, a vase, or simply your new office mug, all ideas are welcome !
All pieces will be fired two times and coated with a food-safe transparent glaze, and will usually be ready to be picked up after 2-3 weeks.
